This piece was just a funny little starter study for painting course on quality water color paper and some water color techniques. Topic was human and humor.

The paper was left to soak in water for a while and then using wet on wet the background was painted with thick pigment. Once background color was painted then the character was left with the background color and the surrounding areas was painted with new color. In the end the details were added to the character with a third color. (and I also painted the banana yellow with a fourth color ;))
