For this landscape painting we went to Naissaari. It is a very pretty location to paint and just to enjoy the views. We walked around to check some possible places to paint and after the tour everyone took of to their chosen locations. The main topic was water and the movement or reflections in the water.

I chose reflection as my topic and took as my spot this nice location where bright green grass was reflected into the water.

I yet again started of with water color and then at home I started adding more color and details using gouache. Not too happy with this one either, so I then made another image entirely with gouache as ‘virtual plein air’ using then just photo as ref.
