Well, as I was not too happy with my mixed media (water color + gouache) pieces I made another landscape painting entirely using just gouache using the reference shots I took while scouting an area to paint in. So not now plein air study but instead using photo references from start to end.

In this one the movement of water was the main topic in this area and I wanted to have the building there also, so not just water study or main focus only in water.

(lessons learned that I should sketch and study the reference a bit more before attempting to paint buildings :D)
